Begin in Marrakech, exploring its vibrant souks and historic sites before traveling through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260 meters) to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed fortress. Explore the kasbah Teloute, venture into the Draa Valley, with stops in Agdz, Zagora, and Tamgrout, immersing yourself in Berber craftsmanship and palm-filled oases.

The heart of your journey unfolds during a three-day camel trekking tour through the Sahara, from M’Hamid to the towering Erg Chigaga dunes. Experience desert magic as you traverse dunes, stony plains, and ancient fossil beds, camping under star-filled skies and soaking in the profound solitude of the desert.

Continue to Taroudant, known as "Little Marrakech," exploring its medina and local crafts. Travel along the Atlantic coastline to Essaouira, a coastal gem of historic ramparts, pristine beaches, and fresh seafood. Conclude your journey with a return to Marrakech, reflecting on the unforgettable sights, sounds, and serenity of Morocco.

Day 1-2: Marrakesh (2days/2nights)

​

Day 1: Arrive in Marrakech and transfer to your hotel or riad. Spend the day relaxing and exploring.​

Day 2: Exploring Marrakech.  Discover Marrakech’s vibrant souks on a guided tour (optional), indulging in its vivid colors, exotic scents, and lively atmosphere. 

 

Day 3: Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou

​

Cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass, visit the Telouet Kasbah, and explore the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou before settling into your riad for dinner.

 

Day 4: Ait Ben Haddou to M’Hamid

​

Journey through the scenic Draa Valley, visiting Agdz, Zagora, and Tamgrout. Explore local ancient Koranic Library,crafts, including emerald glaze pottery, before reaching M’Hamid’s palm groves for an overnight desert camp/or hotel of your choice.

 

Day 5-7* Camel caravan trekking  (3days/2nights):

*Day 5: M’Hamid to Qued Naam

Trek with your camel caravan through dunes and plateaus, passing tamarisk trees and rocky terrain. Spend the night in a desert camp under starry desert skies.

*Day 6: Oued Naam to Bouguern

Hike across stony plains and sandy dunes, marveling at fossilized sea creatures. Rest under desert palms before reaching Bouguern’s towering dunes for the night.

*Day 7: Bouguern to Erg Chigaga

Traverse the rugged hamada landscape to Erg Chigaga, the region’s tallest dunes. Enjoy a night camping beneath their golden peaks.​​​

Day 8: Erg Chigaga to Taroudant

​

Travel through lake Iriki, experience mirages, rocky deserts, and explore Berber rug craftsmanship in Tazenakht. Rest at a charming riad in Taroudant also known as the "little Marrakesh".

Day 9: Taroudant to Essaouira

​

Visit Taroudant’s medina, then follow the Atlantic coastline to Essaouira. Relax in a Medina riad, after wandering the souk or enjoy a stroll on the wide sandy beach.

Day 10: Spend the day in Essaouira

​

Ride horses on Essaouira’s beach, explore the Portuguese fortifications, or wander the vibrant souks, before enjoying fresh fish in Essaouira's port.

​

Day 11: Essaouira to Marrakech

​

Return to Marrakesh to conclude your unforgettable journey.

There is the option of continuing on to Cassablanca and the northern part of Morocco.
