Day 1: Journey to the Sahara - Marrakesh to Agdz
Around 9:00 a.m., your private driver will arrive at your accommodations, ready to whisk you away in style. Today’s journey takes you across the majestic Atlas Mountains, winding through the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters. Along the way, marvel at the stunning landscapes of Ounila Valley, dotted with ancient villages and iconic kasbahs.A highlight of the day is a visit to the legendary Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the most celebrated kasbah in southern Morocco. From there, we’ll traverse the rugged Anti-Atlas Mountains and descend into the lush Draa Valley, eventually arriving at the charming village of Agdz. Here, you’ll spend your first night in a serene riad. Unwind amidst the tranquil palm groves or take a leisurely stroll before indulging in a traditional dinner prepared by local women using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The evening promises authentic Moroccan flavors in a truly magical setting.​​
​Day 2: Agdz – Zagora – M’Hamid – Erg Chigaga
Begin your day with a peaceful walk among the towering palms, followed by a delightful Moroccan breakfast. Then, it’s time to journey deeper
into the heart of the desert! Travel through the enchanting Draa Valley, home to over three million date palms and countless kasbahs. Your route includes stops in Zagora and Tamegroute, a village famed for its unique green-glazed pottery. Finally, you’ll arrive in M’Hamid, the “end of the road” where the boundless Sahara begins. Here, you’ll endavour in an exhilarating off-road adventure through golden sand dunes.As you traverse the desert, potentially spotting herds of camels, goats, and donkeys before reaching Erg Chigaga, your home for the next two nights. The vastness of the dunes and the serenity of the desert set the stage for an unforgettable experience.
Day 3: The Magic of Erg Chigaga
Rise with the sun for an enchanting camel ride to witness the first golden rays illuminate the towering dunes. Afterward, savor a delectable Moroccan breakfast back at camp.Your day is yours to enjoy! Relax in the peaceful desert surroundings or dive into activities like sandboarding, visiting a local nomadic family, exploring an oasis, or even participating in a Moroccan cooking class. For thrill-seekers, an ATV adventure across
the dunes can be arranged with prior notice. As evening falls, ascend the highest dune for a spectacular sundowner celebration. Toast to one of the world’s most breathtaking sunsets before dining under a blanket of stars. Day 4: Erg Chigaga – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Marrakech
​​After a hearty breakfast, bid farewell to the desert and begin your journey back to Marrakech. Cross the vast Sahara for three hours until you reach the vibrant village of Foum Zguid, where you’ll stop for lunch. Continue onwards to Taznakht, renowned for its intricately woven Berber rugs, before completing your epic adventure in Marrakech. The memories of your desert odyssey will stay with you long after you leave this magical land!
